The issues around California Adult Education are many. This is an opportunity for policy makers to address how California should provide services in the future for the populations currently served by the Adult Education system.
How should we fund Parent Education, Older Adult services, English language training, Career Technical Education, GED and 18+ high school diploma training?
How is it done in other states?
Should our 150 year tradition of serving adults through our school districts be dismantled? This is the unintended consequence of our current fiscal crisis.
Is this the policy we want to drive? Why? or Why not?
Please weigh in -- millions of Californians currently enrolled in Adult Ed programs are looking for leadership.
Thanks for being part of the solution.
